There’s a common misconception that Realtors take home the full percentage listed on the agreement. Here’s how it really works:


About half of the total commission goes to the buyer’s brokerage.


From the remaining half, half goes to the listing brokerage.


The rest is allocated to marketing, advertising, agent fees, admin fees, and finally to the agents who helped sell your home.


There is NO standard commission. Every sale is unique, and every dollar is invested to get the best result for you.
